Faith is perhaps the most mysterious doctrine in the Bible. All believers have it, but maybe no one can grasp it. The Bible says that it is the substance of things hoped for. As such faith is distinct from hope but tied to it as the object of faith. Because we believe, we shall live eternally. Eternal life is the hope, but faith is the means as much as the reason for the hope. This week’s lesson opens up the mystery of faith as Jesus continues to perform spectacular miracles never before seen by human eyes. Join us next Wednesday night as we discuss more of the Good News of Jesus. You can use this handout as a guide in your study.
