Going Deeper: A King’s Daughter – 1 Damuel 18:17-30

Sometimes we fear what we cannot control. This fear of the unknown is common and understandable, but the children of God should live by faith and not sight. Faith in the hope we have in Jesus Christ is the key.

This week we are considering the fear that King Saul had toward David who only sought to serve God and the king faithfully. However Saul was consumed by his fear of David’s reputation and increasing prowess. Similarly, Jesus was reviled because of His innate power and influence over the people.

Join us this week as we consider the lengths to which Saul and the leaders in Jesus’s day went in fear of the very thing that could save them.
